Junior Leadership Camp

I just spent the weekend facilitating a weekend camp for middle school students aimed at creating and strengthening their leadership skills.  These skills included communication, planning and organizing, problem solving, self awareness and teamwork. The main feature of the camp however was not my teaching ability however it was the effort and leadership of some very special teens who lead and taught the sessions.  The skills the middle school students gained will benefit their schools their families and their communities.  Thanks to both the teen leaders and the middle school students for making it a great weekend.
